Warner Bros. (WB) is an American company dedicated to leisure and entertainment since it produces a multitude of films, television programs, animation and video games. It all started when Harry Warner, who was the oldest of four brothers, decided to get involved in the world of cinema in 1903 with a modest-sized room in which to show and play films in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Soon his brothers Albert, Sam and Jack, joined him in the business and after a time it led to them becoming a four-state distributor of films.

A few years later, in 1918, they took the step of leaving film distribution in the background, to become the producers in charge of creating them themselves . They created their own studio in Hollywood. Not all the brothers were dedicated to production since the company was already of a considerable size and it was necessary to divide functions for its correct operation. The two older brothers (Harry and Albert) were in charge of controlling finances and distribution in New York, while the two younger brothers (Jack and Sam) produced films for the entertainment world. In 1923 they officially founded Warner Bros Pictures, Inc.

The name of the company obviously comes from the name of the three brothers since their last name was Warner. At that time the cinema that existed was silent cinema. But that didn't stop the film from doing well, and the brothers used the profit money to invest in buying another studio and the 250 Stanley Company theaters.

Between 1929 and 1931, Warner focused on releasing color films that performed very well until people began to tire of musicals and had to suspend many productions due to loss of interest in them. During the great depression , they had financial problems that they managed to save thanks to the film 42nd Street, which was released in 1933.
